Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Receiving inventory clerk position records, tracks, verifies product and maintains rate inventory information as it is received from inbound containers and placed in the ehouse by performing the following duties:
Maintains the accuracy of the inventory spreadsheet, by verifying product description, quantity and location of product, through company tracking systems.
Supports the replenishment and picking teams with updated product location information through the use of two way radios and direct communication.
Update and distribute the out of stock reports to management (email) and order pickers so that they may complete the orders in a timely manner to customer specifications.
Collect twice daily and input, the data for the secondary spreadsheet in an accurate and timely manner.
Update and distribute a variety of reports on a daily/weekly basis to management through excel, email or hardcopy.
Copy and file all appropriate paperwork to maintain records and send to Inventory Manager.
Work as a team member assisting with office duties such as answering phones, greeting drivers/visitors and maintaining a clean work environment.
Required Skills/Knowledge:
Basic Math skill, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, basic reading and writing skills.
Ability to prioritize effectively and multi-task assignments.
Problem-solve to be able to quickly find solutions to issues slowing production.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel.
Gain a solid understanding of Macola as it relates to Warehouse inventory system.
Ability to operate a multi-line phone system and two way radios to communicate quickly and efficiently.
Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing to other staff, drivers and Management.
Must be able to receive inbound phone calls and emails efficiently and resolve issues to customer and company expectations, while sitting at a desk using arms and hands.
Sit for half the work day and be mobile throughout the rest of the warehouse for the remainder of the day.
Stoop, bend and reach to retrieve files.
Be capable of making decisions required of this position.
