Business Analyst I

job summary:

Looking for a Shipping Office Analyst to hlp with ongoing business needs.

location: Lockbourne, Ohio

job type: Contract

salary: $22 - 25 per hour

work hours: 8am to 5pm

education: Bachelors

responsibilities:

  • Ensure on-time and in full shipments to drive green internal and external scorecards

  • Review all shipments and check that they are meeting the specific customer requirements

  • Conduct weekly calls with the sales and operations team for upcoming promotions and displays

  • Analyze large excel files to prioritize customer orders and loads as needed when there are capacity constraints

  • Log customer carrier failures in database

  • Maintain database of transportation and warehousing key performance indicators and report out to high level management

  • Serve as liaison between Philips, the transportation management center, and the warehouse shipping offices

  • Execute customer and carrier follow-up

  • Assist to contact carriers as needed to schedule pick-ups and for missed deliveries

  • Contact sales and customer operations as needed

qualifications:

  • High level of excel knowledge (pivot tables) is a must

  • Previous transportation, shipping , and warehouse experience a must

  • Prior experience in working with data bases

  • Strong Communication skills

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
